We hope that you can make it to our Networking meeting on Tuesday 7th June.  This month our speaker is Viv Smith, partner in Elms Secretarial Services.

Viv has lived and worked in Oxford for the last 40+ years. In the 1980s she set up Elms Secretarial Services, offering secretarial and administration services to local businesses, as a partnership with three other women when they all had young children and child care was difficult to find. It was a successful venture from both a business point of view and on a personal basis as it enabled the partners to choose the hours they worked.

After Elms Secretarial Services disbanded, when circumstances changed and the children grew, Viv took a full-time position at Oxford University Press where she continued working until her retirement last summer.

The programme for the meeting is as follows:

• 7.30pm - registration and payment, hot drinks available.  Each person has the chance to briefly introduce themselves and their business.
• 7.45 - 8.15pm - speaker, and questions.
• 8.15 - 8.45pm - networking.
• 8.45pm - tidy up ready for prompt close at 9pm.

Please be aware that we have to leave the building by 9pm.
