AN INVITATION TO A CELEBRATION
Volunteers ‘Make a Difference’ to Learning

CSV Make a Difference Day is the UK's largest day of volunteering. It takes place this year on 31st October, with activities from 24th October – 7th November. We would like to invite you to an event at Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday 3rd November to celebrate the part played by volunteers in Oxfordshire in developing learning and skills throughout the County in a wide variety of ways.

The event begins at 5pm with refreshments and a chance to look around at exhibits of some of the work that takes place. We invite you to have a display of the work of your organisation, if applicable. Then we will hear from speakers and finally an award will be given to the person judged to have made a special contribution in their role as a volunteer, presented by Richard Dick, the High Sheriff of Oxfordshire. Please find enclosed further information on how to nominate a volunteer- it’s a great chance to say a special thank you for their contribution.
