I Want To Volunteer

Looking for volunteering opportunities?

Visit the national volunteer website Do-it to search for opportunities in your area and interests.

Do-it allows you to request further information on any opportunities of interest.

Once you apply for an opportunity on the do-it website further information will be emailed to you by the Volunteer Centre within two working days. You can then make contact with the organisations yourself.

If you struggle to find any opportunities on the website or have limited access to the internet an appointment can be made at our office, Volunteer Centre Oxfordshire, where we hold information on current local current volunteering opportunities in Oxford City, South Oxfordshire & the Vale. There is also a confidential area for volunteers to have a one to one, face to face interview.

Our office is in Floyds Row, St Aldates, Oxford. This is near the police station and Job Centre Plus office. We are open Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.

If you would like to talk to somebody, please contact the Volunteer Centre Team, or anyone from the OCVA team, tel: 01865 251946 or vol@ocva.org.uk

Volunteering while unemployed

The Volunteer Centre runs a specific project to help people who are unemployed to find a suitable volunteering role.  Volunteering can be a great way of building up skills, references and experience while seeking paid work.  Please get in touch and we can offer you an appointment and support to find a role.  Contact Rebecca Burton on 01865 258916 or Rebecca.Burton@ocva.org.uk
