OCVA’s training programme is aimed at voluntary and community groups in Oxfordshire. We aim to offer good value, local, and relevant training.

Who can attend?
Our courses and events are open to anyone from a voluntary organisation or a community group - whether you are a paid worker, a volunteer, a management committee member, or a service-user. Courses are also open to individuals who are trying to set up a group in their community (our training is not aimed at workers from statutory organisations, but occasionally spaces become free).
How much does it cost?
We strive to put on the highest quality training, and all our trainers are experts in their field. But we keep the course fees low so that everyone can afford to attend. There is a discount for organisations that are members of OCVA, and any short course is free for groups with a turnover of less than £1,000 per year.
Access
All venues are accessible and have accessible toilets. If you have any particular access requirements (e.g. disabled parking space, carer attendance, translation) please let us know in advance - we will try to cater for your needs. Each venue is close to public transport links – to check public transport options contact ‘Traveline’ on 0870 608 2 608 or visit www.traveline.org.uk
We want everyone to be able to attend our training. That’s why we offer a bursary to cover the costs of childcare and/or transport if these factors are a barrier to you. Please outline your needs on the booking form or call us.
