The choices and challenges of the Personalisation Agenda

The Oxfordshire Wheel is holding a special event to explore the choices and challenges of the Personalisation Agenda. Taking Control - Choices and Challenges is aimed at everyone who uses adult social care services (whatever their impairment), providers of services and local authorities.

The day will primarily be to provide an opportunity for all users, carers, groups and individual professionals to come together and look at what is working and what can be improved for people using personal budgets and gather their experiences to feedback to local authorities. This will enable people to share good practice and identify where more work needs to be done to ensure that self directed support is a positive experience.

The event will be held on 1 March, 9.30am–4pm at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford. This event is free to users and carers, and a limited number of free places are also available to students of Social and Healthcare. Delegate Price: £55 per person, including lunch.
