Membership of Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action is open to organisations operating in Oxfordshire. Applications are approved at the OCVA Trustees’ meeting six times a year. Benefits will be provided to applicants on a temporary basis while awaiting formal approval.
There are two forms of membership:
Full Membership
Full membership is open to voluntary and community groups operating in Oxfordshire. The benefits of full membership are:
- members are able to attend and vote at OCVA Annual General Meeting and to nominate members to the Executive Committee of OCVA
- a monthly mailing and bi-monthly newsletter containing information about local, regional and national news for the voluntary sector
- members may contribute material for the monthly mailing, either an article for the newsletter or one A4 sheet of paper free of charge (we do not accept advertisements, job vacancies or volunteering opportunities)
- county-wide programme of OCVA seminars and training events at reduced rates
- use of Funderfinder facility, Grant making trust CD-ROM and the Directory of Social Change online grant making trust database free of charge
- use of photocopying facilities at a reduced rate
- use of OCVA Resource Centre and assistance from OCVA staff in looking for relevant material

Associate Membership
Associate membership is open to individuals and to statutory, commercial or academic organisations. This category enables members to use the OCVA Resource Centre (including Funderfinder & Directory of Social Change online grant making trust database) and to receive a monthly mailing and bi-monthly newsletter. There will be a charge for material members may want to include in the mailing.
