Planner - Development Control (Oxford City Council) 

£25, 472 - £28,636 pro rata (Grade 6) part-time 3 or 4 day per week basis to cover a 4 or 5 month period of a process review in development control between April and August.

Oxford City Council are recruiting a planner for the Development Control team. You will contribute to the working of the Development Control team in all respects, giving pre-application advice, dealing with a wide range of planning applications and relevant proposals and written representations appeals.

Service Assistant - Mobility Equipment (British Red Cross)

£5.90 per hour (£2,148.00 per annum)

The Mobility Equipment Loans Service provides short-term loan of mobility equipment to help people in crisis to remain independent.

We are looking for a practical, hands-on person who is willing to learn on the job skills. You will need to enjoy being part of the team and work on your own initiative to provide support to the service. The job will involve quality control, checking for defects and routine maintenance of equipment. You will need to follow cleaning procedures for decontamination of equipment and you will also be moving and handling mobility equipment such as wheelchairs up to 48lbs in weight. Training will be given. 

The job will be part of a job share and will be between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Hours can be flexible although we would prefer Tuesday and Thursdays.

Mobilisation Project Manager (Climate Outreach and Information Officer [COIN])

£25,500 FTE pro-rata 3 days per week.

COIN is recruiting for a skilled Project Manager to manage and further develop COIN's mobilisation work. The work will involve promoting and further developing COIN's Climate Action Groups, contributing to COIN's work with Trade Union Action Groups and further development of COIN's mobilisation work across all sectors.

The successful candidate will have proven skills and experience in mobilising groups and communities on climate change together with sound communication, networking and project management skills.

Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Oxfordshire MIND) 

£21,519 - £24,646 37 hours per weke. 6 weeks annual leave per annum.

The postholder will:

  •  work within the Oxfordshire 'Improving Access to Psychological Therapies' (IAPT) service which will be called TalkingSpace.
  • Provide a range of high volume low intensity Step 2 cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self management. interventions to clienty with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
  • Work on a rota basis at the Telephone and Referral Centre.
  • See patients and deliver low intensity interventions in different locations around the County.
  • Undertake GP liaison, data entry and follow up work.
  • The post holder will have passed the accredited IAPT training.
