Getting Down to Business- how to build successful two-way relationships betweenthe Voluntary Sector and the Business Community
Thursday 14 May, 10am to 1pm (9.30am registration) at the
Church Hall of Blessed Dominic Barberi, Cowley Road, Littlemore OX4 4JX
This half day workshop is open to all voluntary organisations in Oxfordshire and will be an opportunityfor those who want to make links with the business community to think how best to achieve this. A speaker from a local business will address the issue of how voluntary organisations engage the business community, then a workshop session will follow, to identify the issues the voluntary organisations want to raise and finally an action plan will be formulated on how businesses can help. The session will be followed by a networking lunch.

The Facilitator will be Shirin Welham of Business in the Community, who’s mission is to inspire, engage, support and challenge companies on responsible business, working through four areas: Marketplace, Workplace, Environment and Community.
