07/12/2011 16:30

This will be an interactive learning opportunity for us to think about how to help adults who have undergone abusive experiences early in life. The day will focus on 2 main areas:

  • Possible psychological consequences of child sexual abuse
  • How recent ideas on 'post traumatic growth' (rather than post traumatic stress) may affect how we engage with those who report distressing events.
