Spaceshaper presentation by Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment
Spaceshaper is a practical toolkit to measure the quality of a public space before investing time and money in improving it. It captures the views of professionals who run the space as well as the people that use it, through an external facilitator. Facilitated workshops discuss the results, design quality and how the space works for different people. Spaceshaper encourages people to demand more from their local spaces and helps them to get involved in changing them.
The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) who developed Spaceshaper are coming to Oxford on Tuesday 3rd February 2009 from 10:00-12.00 to give a free presentation on Spaceshaper in the Assembly Room, Oxford Town Hall, St Aldate's, Oxford OX1 1BX. More information and sign up info is available on CABE's website here.
