Pregnancy Loss Seminar

A one-day seminar exploring the issues and aspects of different types of Pregnancy Loss, including miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion and neonatal death.

The course is suitable for health professionals, counsellors and anyone interested in understanding the impact of such a loss.  The day will include an overview of different types of pregnancy loss including miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth and neonatal death.  Sessions will include factual information, self awareness and support, personal experience and advice on how to approach and support the family. 

Speakers will include Jenny Thomas OBE from the Child Bereavement Trust, Nicki Richardson, Care Services and Training Manager for LIFE and Sue Hale from SANDS, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.  There will be information available on sources of help and referral. 

The cost of attending this day is £50, which includes a buffet lunch.  Pre-booking is essential, and can be made by calling or emailing to request a booking form or downloading the attached form.
