What are Human Rights all about? Is it relevant for me?
How does it work? Can I be in breach of Human Rights in my daily routine?

If you would like to find out more about any of these questions come and join Oxfordshire Equality and Human Rights Council (OEHRC) on their Human Rights awareness training day!

This is an open invitation, and all are welcome, whether you work for the charity sector, deal with clients or are simply interested in broadening your knowledge and experience on human rights issues this is the place to be.

OEHRC is committed to making equality, fairness and justice a reality in Oxfordshire. They work in close partnership with Oxford Citizens Advice Bureau and the Equality and Human Rights Commission and with their support they have committed themselves to promote Human Rights in the whole of South East of England. In the months to come we are organising 4 awareness training days: in Brighton, Portsmouth, Kent and Oxford.
So don’t miss out! The Oxford training day is taking place soon on 21 July 2010 at Oxford Brookes University, Wheatley Campus. It is a free event and a great opportunity to learn about Human Rights and relevant legislation. It will help you build a better understanding of your rights and the rights of those around you. You will learn how Human Rights apply in your daily life and gain practical experience by working in groups and doing case study.
If you would like to get more information, or register your interest please contact Mrs G. Danthon on 01865 791 891 or email gosia@oxrec.org.
Please note that spaces are limited, and that all booking need to be in place by 16 July.
