Advice UK are hosting a conference at the Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday 28 September for anyone who wants to break the cycle of problem debt in Oxfordshire, and help those living in the county manage their money more effectively. This eventis particularly for you if:

  • You are a local councillor or council officer
  • You represent a lender/creditor organisation operating in Oxfordshire
  • You are a community-based health professional
  • Your work involves meeting people who are struggling with debt or having difficulties managing their money
  • You are interested in fuel poverty
  • You are dealing with housing needs or homelessness
  • You are helping people on consumer or personal finance issues
  • You give advice and information to the general public about money or benefits
  • You help carers or help people meet their personal care needs.

There will be space for stands to publicise the work of participant organisations, opportunities to find out what advice services are on offer across the county, and chances to develop collaborative approaches to the issues involved. Please contact Advice UKif you would like to have a stand at the event. There is no charge for attending, and lunch will be provided.
