The Story Museum is joining in Oxford’s Christmas Light Night for the first time this year, on Friday December 2. Celebrate a traditional Christmas with storytelling and songs around the Christmas tree in the courtyard of the Story Museum’s future home. Performance storyteller Katy Cawkwell will weave pictures that linger in the mind and stimulate the imagination. She'll be telling tales of the woman who married the moon and the man who followed a star, the singing fir and the golden branch.

Oxford Harmony, an enthusiastic band of local singers, will be singing Christmas favourites and well-known carols, together with St Ebbes’ school choir.

No need to book, just drop in. The event is free. For more information visit http://www.storymuseum.org.uk/the-story-museum/christmas-light-night
