Participatory methods for engaging people in action research, planning and decision - drawing on Participatory Appraisal.

This training is being provided by Reach Ability and is for anyone who wants to involve people in decision making, planning and evaluation - from service opening hours to the design of a new housing development.

Participants will learn:

• The essential principles of participation.
• A range of techniques and tools for involving stakeholders, including: mapping, preference ranking, sequencing and coding.
• How to plan and deliver a participatory process.
• Useful things to think about when commissioning participatory work.
