Commissioning for the third sector - level 2

09/09/2010 09:15

The Office for Civil Society (OCS) has engaged LG Improvement and Development and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) to deliver a comprehensive training programme for commissioners and finance staff throughout the public sector.

Level 2 comprises two major plenary sessions that will set the strategy of the new policy agenda and extend the role of the community, voluntary, charitable and social enterprise sectors.

There will be a series of master classes conducted by recognised experts.

These courses will increase awareness and understanding of:

    * the third sector
    * helping improve engagement
    * enabling greater access to specialist knowledge that will benefit the delivery of public services.

This training is aimed at experienced commissioning and finance officers, especially those who participated in phase 1 of the National Programme for Third Sector Commissioning (NPTSC) and those who have attended level 1 events.

For more information about this training contact Gemma Pullen on 020 8667 8595 or at Gemma.Pullen@cipfa.org.uk.
