Business in the Community's Award for Excellence Workshop
Business in the Community’s Awards for Excellence are the most influential UK awards recognising company’s corporate responsibility and will be launched for 2012 in December. These Awards are robust, rigorous and peer-assessed which mean that they highlight practical examples of programmes that make a real difference to society, the environment and impact on the business. They cover the categories of Marketplace, Workplace, Education, Environment and Community. There is also an international award. We will also discuss our South East regional awards.
We are running an Awards workshop in Oxford on Thursday 8th December, hosted by Unipart
If you are new to the Awards for Excellence it will be a great opportunity to learn about the awards, the categories, the process and the timeline. It will also enable you to learn about how the awards assess the impact of your CR activities and give you an insight into how to identify and measure impact in your own CR activities.
The event is free of charge and runs from 9.30am to 2pm.
It is an interactive workshop, with practical hands on exercises to help companies complete their application. Companies can also hear directly from a previous Big Tick winner and learn from their experiences.
