If you would like to find out more about any of these questions come and join Oxfordshire Equality and Human Rights Council (OEHRC) on their Human Rights awareness training day!

This is an open invitation, and all are welcome, whether you work for the charity sector, deal with clients or are simply interested in broadening your knowledge and experience on human rights issues this is the place to be.

The Office of the Third Sector in the Cabinet Office hosts an event in Oxford to encourage nominations for The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for voluntary groups.

Held at Wafic Said Business School on 22nd July at 10.30am, the event is hosted by Lord-Lieutenant, Timothy Stevenson, the Queen’s representative in the county. The event will offer eligible groups and all those from their communities able to make a nomination the chance to learn more about the prestigious Award and the benefits it can provide for local voluntary groups.
