ACEVO are hosting a one day event called the Third Sector Partnerships and Mergers Masterclass, held in London on the 22nd and 23rd of March, and in Birmingham on the 25th of March.
The workshop is being hosted by David La Piana, one of the foremost authorities on the topic and author of The Nonprofit Mergers Handbook. Having worked extensively in the American nonprofit sector since 1979 La Piana's methodology is based on five years of case study research and 12 years of practical experience.
This is a celebration of informal adult learning and the difference this makes to communities in Oxfordshire. This workshop is also an opportunity to understand more about the benefits of membership to OLN and learn from each other about good practice and success stories.

Government policy has increasingly focused on joining up health and social care (HSC) services, and recently policy development combined with pressures on public spending are likely to accelerate that development. The Government will need to get more bang for the public buck by ensuring that health and social care services are more innovative, more preventative and more joined up.
INVOLVE South East, the Third Sector European Network and the Department of Work and Pensions host the 'Inclusion through learning' – How we support people and communities to move away from poverty and exclusion' conference.

Many people of all ages in Oxfordshire are looking after a relative, child, friend or neighbour who needs support because of frailty, illness, disability or a difficulty, such as an addiction. Unpaid carers provide most of the care in the community. Many are juggling paid work and caring responsibilities.
If we are “Carer Aware”, through our roles we can help carers access our services and signpost them to support for them in their caring roles

The end of a relationship or marriage can be a difficult and painful experience. It can leave you feeling confused, lonely and lacking in confidence in yourself and the future. Feelings of betrayal, guilt or rejection are common. Anger, sadness and confusion are often intense. Moving forward can be hard when trust, self-confidence and self-esteem have been shaken.
