NHS organisations and Social Care Directorates at Oxfordshire County Council are establishing a new programme to plan for and develop staff who deliver health and social care services in Oxfordshire.

In the first year\, we will be\:

- Developing a workforce strategy with all organisations delivering health and social care services

- Planning for the future workforce to deliver diabetes and dementia care

- Exploring how staff\, carers and users can improve health care and social support by using and sharing information differently

- This programme is expected to last for a minimum of 3 years

If you would like the opportunity to find out more about how this may benefit your organisation\, we are holding a briefing session on 21st January 2009 between 10am and 12pm at The Magdalen Centre\, Oxford Science Park OX4 4GA
