Advice Organisations Networking

11/02/2009 09:30

Are you involved with a charity, community organisation, or volunteer-led group that provides advice on a 1-1 basis anywhere in Oxfordshire?

On Wednesday February 11 2009 there will be an event at the Old Music Hall, 106-108 Cowley Road, Oxford from 9.30am to 1.30pm (including free networking lunch).  It is aimed at trustees and managers of advice services run by third sector organisations, and is taking place as part of the Working Together for Advice project funded by the Big Lottery.

The event is being organised by AdviceUK and aims to raise awareness of advice services being provided throughout the county, give participants the chance to network, and investigate possibilities of working collaboratively.  Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The Working Together for Advice project is a partnership between Citizens Advice, AdviceUK, Age Concern England, the Law Centres Federation and Youth Access, coordinated and led by the Advice Services Alliance.
